Certification
- Certified testing of ungrounded isolated power systems and wiring per NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities and NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
- Complete inspection of all receptacles for polarity
- Verify Code requirements are being met and logged
- IPS Technicians will log voltage and millivolt readings criteria for acceptability for new construction or existing operating rooms
- All Line Isolation Monitors will be tested and results of the readings will be properly documented
- System Leakage and LIM Trip point readings will be compared to specifications of the Code requirements
- Periodic testing and log instructions for future testing required by NFPA 99 will be documented for onsite maintenance personnel
