Cleveland Clinic, Ohio:

The Cleveland Clinic needed to upgrade hundreds of older style line isolation monitors (LIM); therefore, the unit price was a concern. The Isolated Power Specialist line isolation monitor, called the Sentry 5, is nearly half of the cost of other manufacturer's and state of the art. After reviewing the product, Cleveland Clinic was convinced the Sentry 5 was a solid purchase; however, installation and future service was, also a concern.  Once again, after intense scrutiny, Isolated Power Specialist demonstrated their commitment to quality and sound business practices. After years of service, the Cleveland Clinic remains a satisfied customer (see Testimonials). The installation of hundreds of line isolation monitors and remote annunciators resulted in a significant savings.

Atrium Health Hospitals, North Carolina:

During an operation, a line isolation monitor failed. After the surgery, the operating room was considered unusable, according to NFPA 99. Any scheduled surgeries would have to be rescheduled or moved to another operating room, if one were available, until a service technician could make the repairs. Fortunately, the hospital had purchased the Portable Line Isolation Monitor model PS5-7. Simply removing it from storage and carrying it into the operating room with the defective LIM and plugging it into the isolated power system, the operating room was once again operational. Therefore, no surgeries were moved, canceled, or rescheduled. That evening, the hospital electrician retrieved a Sentry 5 from storage and replaced the defective LIM.. Subsequently, the Portable Line Isolation Monitor was unplugged and put back in storage. This was a success for many departments of the hospital.
